Final La Passacaglia rosette #2... and a reality shocker

The La Passacaglia 

“aha”moment of 

galactic proportions… 

I FINALLY finished 

my last supersized rosette #2 

for my La Passacaglia quilt 

created using Nova EPP pieces. 

This supersized rosette features

Tula Pink's Parisville (Deja Vu) collection

and took me longer than any other

block to complete.

Finally- it was time to lay it all out 

on my king size bed and 

see what the 4 supersized blocks 

and several companions already completed

would look like… 

Remember the moment in Jaws when he says 

“I think we are going to need a bigger boat…” 

Oy vey— obviously it is time 

to make some serious adjustments 

to my original game plan. 

It would appear I need to alter

Tula Pink City Sampler Blocks 11-30

 Finished my first 30 TP City Sampler blocks!!! 

With just a few days left before end of month- 

New BOM kits will be released and 

demand all my attention... 

I am quite pleased :D

Tula Pink’s City Sampler FIRST 10 of 100 Modern quilt blocks

I’ve joined the challenge of Tula Pink’s City Sampler of 100 Modern quilt blocks. (Because- I wasn’t in the middle of way too many other projects, and at months mid point (so far)- I am caught up on both BOM. Goal will be one per day (scraps only for blocks)- when I have completed other BOM on my Bernina. #tulapinkcitysamplerquilt#100modernquiltblocks #tulapinkfabric

And so.... I jumped in and now- 

it is off to the races!

“Ethereal Grove” BOM 2

Woooohoooo… all caught up! I completed the 8 February blocks of Sweet Pea’s Mystery Block of The Month “Ethereal Grove”. My Tula Pink fabrics and embroidery threads are getting quite the workout! #swpeaembroidery #etherealgrovequilt #swpeabom #ithmachineembroidery #tulapinkfabric

Here is how things went:

I was Sooooooo excited to place 

my 8 completed blocks around month 1!

And,

That's when I discovered 

I made 2 extra Right blocks...

I would have to start over today 

for the reboot and create the 2 remaining.

I woke early and quickly headed to my nest.

Woohoo- by days end- I had it!!!

Now, to figure out 

what to do with my extra quilt squares....
