Sweet Pea Cross Body Pack
"This is a large cross body pack that can be made in 6x10 or 8x12 size hoops and has some great pockets, zips and design features to make it really functional.
Stylish Cross Body Pack ITH in the hoop machine embroidery design.
There is a total of 14 blocks required for the bag, with 10 different panels included (four of the panels are each made twice).
Full photo instructions are included with this design, this covers how to create the individual blocks as well as outlines how to assemble the bag.
There is a fair bit of machine sewing required and we recommend you are of an intermediate level."
OY VEY... This was far more complicated
than that description made it sound.
I made way too many errors
and it added on SO much work.
I'm not really sure what the bags
durability will be...
but now that it is FINALLY complete...
I LOVE IT!
Perhaps if I had just decided to follow the pattern without adding mt own spin...
But where is the personal spin in that...
Once I completed all the piecing
I used the Sweet Pea
ITH embroidery Pattern

All my pieces played out after embroidery and I thought I had it right... I did not :(
I debated between 2 binding colors
and eventually went pink...
I loved this Tula Pink webbing!
Initially piecing went well...
My beautiful Zipper---
that I forgot to piece correctly
And next error was backing...
Even put strap in backwards :(
At least there is no doubt it was made by me 😉
About here is when my
success started to unraveled...
somehow,
I eventually got the
inner binding on.
I added upper loop:
And then came the hell of adding the back:
And an arthritics worst
nightmare followed:
the pull and twist
eventually, I decided to just grin
and let it be what it was...
I covered the outer mess with binding,
machine sewing where I could,
and hand sewing what I couldn't...
And finally-
it was done.
I fray checked my heart out!
Added TP ribbons to the zipper...
