I learned so much participating in the on-line sewing projects group
"Journey to Nebula"!
Eagerly, we welcomed 2021 and bid 2020 a final farewell in all its isolation.
And finally- my first Nebula Packet arrived via USPS.
Soon, all I learned throughout my journey would be put to the test!

Creating Block 1:
After reading other FB posts- I decided to use alternative Tula Pink fabrics and make practice blocks. If I repeat these steps monthly- in theory- I will end up with 2 quilts worth of blocks by my journeys end!
After completing these 2 blocks from TP Homemade, I felt ready to dive in to my True colors pack.
I participated in one more on-line video workshop with Jaybird Quilts...
and then "let the fabric out of the bag"!
I'm still taking breaks as needed- but I have completed all my post-op Physical Therapy...
my shoulder still struggles rotary cutting-
but I feel "good to sew".
I am very pleased with all 4 of my
"BLOCK 1"
for my Nebula as the journey continues.
AND....
Wait
For
it...
My name was drawn for a giveaway of mini's!!!
