Dressing the Prairie in Tula Pink

The Official Little House on the Prairie Cast Reunion and Festival ‘Event Schedule‘ 

has just been announced – 

more exciting than any of us at 

HH could have imagined. 

The event promises an unforgettable journey back to the town of Walnut Grove 

and everything we loved about the show.

Friday, March 22 – A Star-Studded Beginning

The festival opens under the Town Square Tent with a series of engaging panels and presentations. 

To start the day is a favorite episode discussion featuring Karen Grassle, followed by Susan McCray’s insights into casting for the series. 

Midday includes a tribute to Michael Landon and a panel with Melissa Gilbert. 

The afternoon offers discussions on books 

by cast members, 

a humorous presentation by Alison Arngrim, 

and ends with a deep dive into the creation of 

the Little House world with cast and crew. 

Friday wraps up with panel featuring the 

extended families of the show.

Saturday, March 23 – Insights and Delights

Saturday is filled with heartwarming discussions 

and activities starting in the morning. 

The schedule includes a panel with 

the Friendly Family, insights from 

Dean Butler and Lucy Lee Flippin, 

and the Prairie Delights Food Contest 

& Fashion Show sponsored by Modern Prairie. 

In the afternoon we’ll see a tribute to Michael Landon, followed by a screening of a fan-favorite episode 

and a look into the lives of the show’s twins. 

The day concludes with reflections 

from the cast and crew 

about departed members of 

the Little House community.

Sunday, March 24 – Serenity and Celebration

The final day opens with a non-denominational

 church service, 

followed by more engaging panels and 

a return appearance by Karen Grassle. 

Modern Prairie is back with another 

Prairie Delights contest, 

this time featuring jams and pickles. 

Afternoon events include a favorite episode recap

a panel with Melissa Gilbert, 

and more book discussions. 

Alison Arngrim delivers one more round 

round of laughter before the festival ends

 with a reflective session on departed 

cast and crew and a 

celebratory panel on the 

enduring legacy of Little House.

Beneath the main tent, each day of 

the Little House 50th Anniversary 

Cast Reunion and Festival 

is packed with discussions, 

new information, presentations, 

and special tributes, 

offering an immersive experience 

into the world of “Little House on the Prairie.”

Jamie jumped in immediately to rally the troops... 

and I of course used that as my excuse

 to create my own take pn prairie attire...

I am not much of a seamstress, so it was quite intimidating... but I was determined.
First bonnet had a LOT of errors... and eventually I decided to make a second.
(I'll give this one to my sis, I'll be lucky if she even puts it on for a photo.


I made top of dress backwards and it did not work out at all... so I will hem bottom when I get around to it and it will become a jacket perhaps???
SEW, not exactly Lil' House calico- I went with Tula Pink's Nightshade Deja Vu collection.
I wonder if anyone will ever look close enough to spot the skulls & moons?
before I hemmed, added collar or zipper...
creating applique for apron!
I am so relieved to be done and 
eager to head to the prairie with my gear in tow. 
My DH even did a phot shoot for me!!!
